To encourage students to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival while learning to transform their own happiness into love and blessings, our school organised the "Spreading Warmth with Mooncake Donations" event. Students were encouraged to donate mooncakes to show care for the elderly and families in need within the community. From 18th to 20th September, students actively participated in the donation drive.
On 20th September, our dedicated volunteer team visited the Christian and Missionary Alliance North District Youth Integrated Service Center in Shuen Wan Choi Yuen Estate. They distributed the donated mooncakes as a gesture of care to the elderly and families in the area, engaging in interactive games with the participating families. On 21st September, volunteer team members, along with our " Cautious Ambassador " and their families, visited rural villages in Sheung Shui. By distributing mooncakes, they expressed their care and concern through action. Led by Mr. Hau Hon-Sek, the chairman of the Parent-Teacher Association, and village volunteers, different groups were assigned different routes to deliver the donated mooncakes to the elderly and families while also raising awareness among the elderly about scam prevention. The atmosphere was heartwarming and filled with care.
