School History

School History

Fung Kai Primary School was established in 1932 by members of the Liu Clan in Sheung Shui. In 1987, the School Management Committee decided to split Fung Kai Primary School into AM and PM sessions, with both sessions offering classes from Primary 1 to 6. The predecessor of our school was Fung Kai Primary School PM. On August 31, 2005, it was converted into a full-day primary school and registered as a school sponsoring body under the name Fung Kai No.2 Primary School. The following year, we applied for school premises from the Education Bureau and officially changed our name to Fung Kai Innovative School on September 1, 2008. On November 28 of the same year, we relocated to a new school campus, becoming one of the historical schools in the district.
