In order to enhance students' diverse learning experiences, the first day after the Chinese New Year holidays is designated as the "Interdisciplinary Six Arts and Culture Day" (February 20, 2024), aiming at enabling students to appreciate the cultural essence of the Chinese nation for more than 5,000 years. The Six Arts refer to music, etiquette, archery, calligraphy, chariot racing, and mathematics, which are the six basic abilities that Confucianism required students to master in ancient China. With the theme of the Six Arts, our school has designed a six-level cross-curricular learning programme, expecting students to learn the knowledge, skills and attitudes of Chinese music, etiquette, archery, calligraphy, balancing and mathematical problem solving from the Six Arts in ancient times through diverse learning and experiences.
